What is Foul Whisperings?

The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education has identified “Narratives of Potential” as the focus for this year’s Staff Development Conference in Edinburgh in November. In order to get delegates thinking about this theme in advance of the event itself, we’ve created a story – Foul Whisperings – which will be told in five weekly episodes in the run up to the conference.
The story will continue at the conference itself through live performance and interaction with delegates. If you are interested in following this story, and in sharing your own responses with us here, then read on…
Storytelling
In our culture we use and are exposed to stories all the time, in lots of different forms: personal stories told privately to share experience with one another; stories told through the media to entertain, educate, persuade; stories about individuals that tell universal truths about human experience.
In keeping with the Edinburgh backdrop of this year’s LFHE conference, MacBeth provides the inspiration for our story “Foul Whisperings”. The story is told on video and through the e-mails of our OD professional Alison Banks.

Hi I clicked the box for not wanting to recieve your blogs but stay on email list – having looked at this I’ve changed my mind so please send me what ever stuff your sending out. Did we meet at the York Widening the circumference Conference? It was a bit of a festival – I almost ended up camping out in the dinning room after two much wine at dinner!
