The Whole Picture was devised to support housing officers to examine how their own attitudes influence their decision-making in relation to the allocation of housing. What does a ‘vulnerable’ person look like? The story focuses on a young homeless man with mental health problems, the mother with whom he has a difficult relationship, and the thousing officer he meets. How will her attitudes and feelings towards him influence his chances of securing social housing?
