Following a PhD in sociology, I worked in academic research, teaching and writing, specialising in workplace conflict and experiential learning (particularly in the context of action learning, action research and evaluation).

I was always interested in work cultures and their influence on the behaviour of individuals and groups. This is what led me to drama as a vehicle for learning and development; I experienced at first-hand how drama can liberate people to look at their own situation with fresh eyes and so open opportunities for change.

Along with my colleagues, I’m excited by stories and by experimenting to discover the best way of telling them so that others will listen and respond. I have always been motivated by curiosity, hence my affinity with the rat (although, unlike the rat, I often wear lipstick).

Within Forum Interactive my core areas of work address issues in health and social care. I am also a Gestalt Therapist.
